John Enlow PhD, Chief Executive Officer

John joined TracMap in 2017, having worked in the tech industry for 13 years and as a University Lecturer before that. While CTO at ADInstruments, John was responsible for the R&D division of over 40 development staff, with a product range including both Software as a Service and a variety of hardware devices designed and built in-house.

John is passionate about creating the best solutions for customers and the vision, strategy and execution to achieve that. He brings a range of experience across leadership and technology, building high performance teams and driving large, innovative projects to a great outcome with a rapid return on investment.

Janya Anderson, Chief Operating Officer

Janya came to TracMap with 18 years of general management experience in New Zealand, Australia and Thailand. During that time, she specialised in turnaround management, including companies larger than TracMap. At Just Water New Zealand, the country’s largest water delivery business with a $20 million annual turnover, Janya increased EBIT six-fold in three years, enhanced employee engagement by 50 percent and implemented a customer care programme that significantly improved contact and retention rates.

Since moving to Mosgiel and joining TracMap in 2015 she has been working on building and supporting the sales team and positioning the business to scale in terms of its customer support and operational processes. Janya has been part of the Senior Leadership Team for the last four years and led last year’s successful Insights to Action project in California.

In January 2020, Janya was appointed Chief Operating Officer at TracMap. Her extensive experience in revenue generation and operational efficiency were key factors in her appointment.

Gus Hewitt BCom Ag, Head of Sales & Marketing

Gus comes from a NZ farming background with strong ties to the industry. After completing his BCom at Lincoln he completed a marketing cadetship at ANZCO foods. Following the ANZCO role, Gus worked in Australia and the UK as a machinery operator on cropping farms.

Gus started at TracMap in December 2017 as Canterbury Area Manager where he achieved 180% YOY revenue and 130% of 2019 budget. In January 2019, Gus was appointed National Sales Manager in New Zealand to rebuild a sales team with 3 vacant roles.

Under Gus’s leadership the NZ team has broken all previously held sales records to take the company to its best year in unit sales and revenue terms.

In March 2020 Gus was appointed Head of Sales at TracMap.

Gus provides an in-depth understanding of the sales process, outstanding communication skills and a disciplined approach to achieving success, which is now being applied to the wider sales team. He has been proven to deliver results, provide leadership and give strategic guidance to TracMap which has contributed significantly to the business.

Kent Sheldon

Kent Sheldon BCom, MBA, Chartered Accountant CAANZ, Finance Manager

Kent has over 25 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant primarily in New Zealand, but he also spent six years in London while working in the banking industry.

Originally from Christchurch, Kent and his family moved to Dunedin after being Auckland-based for the past sixteen years. He graduated with a BCom in Accountancy from Canterbury University and during the GFC completed his MBA from Southern Cross University in NSW.

Kent has considerable finance experience over a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, transport & logistics, banking, health, and the building sector and has also been responsible for finance teams in Australia and Indonesia. In addition, he has experienced different complexities of business from working on the trading floor at a London Investment Bank to the quiet office of an Architectural practice.

His passion has always been to continuously improve the finance function and support the other parts of the business.

Kent started at Tracmap in July 2020. He is looking forward to the challenge of continuing the great work already completed by the past and current hard-working finance teams.
